Subject: Glory of Indian Hockey
Through the esteemed columns of your newspaper, I would like to draw the attention of the aspiring students to the glory of Indian hockey was from 1928 to 1956. At that time Indian hockey players gave their best performance through their regular wins our players won appreciation from leaders like Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Need of the hour is to produce wizards like Dhyanchand.
Therefore, as sports secretary I would encourage students to take keen interest in hockey. I hope inspirational articles to be published in your extremed newspaper will cultivate interest of the students in hockey.
Thanking you
Yours Sincerely

Sir
Subject : Sale of alcohol to underage people
I would like to draw the attention of the authorities concerned to the above mentioned problem through the esteemed columns of your newspaper.
It has been found out that many of the young people, who are consuming alcohol, are below the age of eligibility. The government vending shops, located in almost every residential colony market, do not even ask for identification or proof of age. If ever they do so, they are easily bribed with a few hundred rupees. This sale of liquor to the under-aged leads to many of the problems our country is facing today. The youth who drink together, do not know when to stop or how much to consume and this often leads to uncontrallable behaviour, emotional problems, etc.
I shall be grateful if my letter is given an appropriate space in your newspaper towards stopping the sale of alcohol to the under-aged.
Yours faithfully
Hashim Gupta
